Originally founded as a home for my first limited series BetterOff [see more below], Cocktail Skrimp Productions is a project that is deeply personal to me. The name itself is a play off of something my friends often say: “Jordan does her own thing, but you can always get her to show up somewhere if there’s a cocktail and some skrimp.”

As a consumer, I’ve always been fascinated by content that breaks the “rules” of genre and standardized structure. And that is what I intend to do with my own work. A mark of a Cocktail Skrimp Production is its grunginess. It looks, sounds, and feels alternative. It’s a collection of elements that shouldn’t work well together, but somehow do. It’s complex and detailed storytelling that is riddled with inside jokes and quotable moments. It’s extremely high highs and woefully low lows.

A Cocktail Skrimp Production is a world within itself— one where you can find yourself truly getting lost. It’s a look into the way I experience the world around me: fast paced, dark and multifaceted but with the overall ability to find the humor in any pitfall.
